Ethics has always been a strong value for our company and has sustained our actions throughout all these years of existence.
We are proud of our history of integrity and respect. We will continue working strongly to ensure these values remain in the present and in the future.
This Code establishes ethical principles and standards of conduct that reinforce MULTINOVA's commitments and guide our internal and external relationships with customers, employees, shareholders, community, and service providers, in a unique and transparent way encompassing all our units.
Our presence in the market involves participation in different business sectors, geographic regions, and cultures that constitute competitive markets and require transparent industry standards.
We are confident in the dedication of our employees to understand, comprehend, and practice the provisions of this Code of Conduct and Ethics and the company's policies to protect the name and image of MULTINOVA and thereby value our history, strengthening our values, making Multinova an increasingly excellent place to work.

2.2 Quality
MULTINOVA is committed to continuous pursuit of effectiveness, quality, and productivity in the manufacturing of its products, aiming to satisfy our customers through meeting their requirements, products with quality, and continuous improvement of our processes and employee training.
2.3 Health and Safety
- Comply with applicable legislation
- Adopt postures, methods, and procedures that ensure safety and health standards for employees and partners
- Identify, eliminate, or minimize risks to the safety and health of employees, partners, and society in general
- Guide and encourage employees regarding their duty and commitment to safeguard the health and safety of others and their own
- Aim at preserving safety and physical integrity of employees, visitors, facilities, and equipment and commit all efforts to the protection, surveillance, and other appropriate controls of surveillance systems

The Board and employees of MULTINOVA are committed to:
- Comply with current environmental legislation
- Conduct operations with the minimum environmental impact possible
- Encourage environmentally sound products
- Raise awareness among employees of their responsibility in proper disposal of waste they generate in appropriate locations available on the company's premises
2.5 Policy on Social Responsibility and Work Environment
MULTINOVA, seeking to ensure compliance with the rights of its employees, continuous improvement of working conditions within its facilities and activities, full compliance with legislation, and conscious of the social responsibility that the activity and capital involved carry, adopts the following policy:
- Within the company, respect for equality, personal rights, individual and collective rights is mandatory, without distinction of race, color, sex or sexual orientation, belief or political affiliation, with freedom of association and expression guaranteed
- The company does not use, and does not permit its suppliers, partners, and employees to use, slave labor and child labor or sexual exploitation of children and adolescents
- Only work by young adolescents is permitted under legally authorized conditions, and even then, with focus on their psychosocial and professional development
3. GENERAL GUIDELINES
3.1 Slave Labor and Child Labor
Child labor is illegal and deprives children and adolescents of a normal childhood, preventing them not only from attending and studying in school normally, but also from developing their abilities and skills in a healthy manner.
MULTINOVA does not tolerate slave labor and/or child labor, and therefore:
- All employees are hired and maintained in accordance with the CLT – Consolidation of Labor Laws
- Child labor, forced labor, involuntary work, and/or work analogous to slavery is not permitted
- MULTINOVA does not enter into contracts with service providers that are proven to use work analogous to slavery, involuntary work, and/or child labor
3.2 Anticorruption Practices
We at MULTINOVA act with integrity and in compliance with applicable legislation, including in the fight against corruption. It is our duty to be in compliance with laws applicable to our business, especially anticorruption laws (Law 12.846/13).
3.3 Responsibility in Conducting Business
Business must be conducted with transparency and strict observance of MULTINOVA's Code of Conduct and Ethics, the law, and current regulations, including, but not limited to, Law No. 12.846/2013 – Anticorruption Law, Law No. 8.429/1992 – Law on Administrative Impropriety, Law No. 13.709/2018 – General Data Protection Law, and their respective amendments, with employees being responsible for ensuring their compliance.
Any and all operations involving MULTINOVA must be supported by appropriate documents in accordance with current legislation.
3.4 Whistleblowing Channel
- Multinova provides a whistleblowing channel through the HR Portal that is accessible to all employees. The report is registered anonymously, unless the employee chooses to identify themselves.
- Multinova also provides on its website an open feedback channel (CONTACT US) for any type of complaints, suggestions, and reports.
These communication channels guarantee reliability and confidentiality, enabling the company to implement necessary measures through investigations and action plans for the effective resolution and conclusion of the matter.
4. BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS
As a fundamental condition for MULTINOVA's existence as an organization, all our business relationships must comply with laws, market practices, and current legislation.
It is strictly forbidden for all MULTINOVA employees to make any improper, questionable, or illegal payments, maintaining conduct and ethics with all stakeholders, whether public agencies, customers, society, employees, suppliers, and competitors.
4.1 Customer Relations
Employees must be courteous, efficient, and provide customers with clear, accurate, and transparent information.
Customers must receive a response to their request in an appropriate manner and within the scheduled timeframe, even if it is negative. Expenses for meals, transportation, and accommodation related to customers are acceptable, provided these expenses are reasonable for the work and do not represent pressure or need for compensation.
In cases of technical visits, scheduling must occur jointly with HR management and/or unit management.
4.2 Relations With Suppliers and Service Providers
The selection of suppliers and service providers should be conducted through objective and predetermined processes that ensure the best cost-benefit ratio (price, product quality, and delivery time).
4.2.1 Conflict of Interest
Conflict of interest in the acquisition process occurs when the procurement professional, in the relationship with suppliers, places their own interests or those of third parties above the organization's interests.
Multinova values the care of conflicts of interest, and is therefore attentive to:
- Use or disclosure of confidential information
- Financial interests that may influence the procurement professional's decisions regarding business conduct with suppliers
- Use of MULTINOVA property items for matters of personal interest or third parties, except when authorized
- Negotiating, based on their position, discounts in the acquisition of goods or services, for personal use or consumption
4.3 Relationship with Public Agencies
All interactions or communications with public agents or institutions must be conducted ethically, professionally, and transparently, observing the ethical principles established in this Code and complying with applicable laws and regulations for the business. Multinova values the commitment that public statements are not false or misleading and meet legal requirements for Business and Advertising in a fair manner.
4.4 Relationship with the Community and Sustainable Development
The company identifies impacts on the community that may arise from its facilities, processes, and services, and implements preventive actions to eliminate or minimize these impacts throughout its entire life cycle.
The company seeks to act responsibly and committed to the development of the communities where it is present, promoting social inclusion, sustainability, and the training of professionals.
